Mortal Kombat XI
Awesome Mortal Kombat Cosplay
Mortal Kombat series has always been popular among cosplayers. As the eleventh installment in the series releases on April 24, we made this cosplay compilation featuring the game’s well-known characters.
Below, you will find photos from years ago, as well as the ones taken right before Mortal Kombat 11 release.
Scorpion is the main symbol of the Mortal Kombat franchise being part of almost every game of the series. Even those who have never played MK know the character as the biggest Sub-Zero’s enemy and for his famous catchphrase ‘’Get over here!’’ while throwing the kunai.
A popular cosplayer Maul brought Scorpion from Mortal Kombat 11 into life.
Cosplayer Sensei Scorpion made a classic Scorpion costume. He also established his own school named ‘Get Over Here!’ where he teaches fighting skills – the ones that you saw in Mortal Kombat.
Sub-Zero is a mighty warrior who uses cryomancing. He used to be the main Scorpion’s enemy before the events of Mortal Kombat X took place. At the beginning of the eleventh game, he protects the young Defenders of the Realm.
Alexander Belyanin brought this character to life.
Here is one more Sub-Zero cosplay created by Joel Xero.
Being Sindel’s daughter and raised by Shao Kahn, she had a chance to fight for both Earthrealm and Netherrealm in the current timeline.
Cosplayer Meiko Inoe showed Kitana as a mysterious and dangerous beauty.
Somewhere at the end of Mortal Kombat X, there is a fight between Kitana and Cassie Cage – Sonya Blade’s daughter. Evgeniya 'Kitana' Rukavitsina and Natasha ‘Narga’ Kochetkova illustrated this battle.
Mileena is Kitana’s evil clone, who first appeared in Mortal Kombat 2. This vicious lady combines female charm with a real creepiness, especially during her fatality.
Cosplayer Soffka 'Sonikella' Maltseva shows these two sides of Mileena from Mortal Kombat X – sexiness and brutality.
Here, we put her cosplay photo sets from different years.
Jade first appeared as an unplayable character in Mortal Kombat 2 and looked like Kitana but wearing a green outfit. However, later she became a mainstay with her own unique fighting style. Anya Ichios has chosen to cosplay this character. Before the release, she attended Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event in London being an ambassador of the game.
These are the photos from different Jade cosplay photo sets by Ichios.
Mortal Kombat 11 developers made women characters less feminine by putting heavy armors on them. Both boys and girls are not happy with this, and among them is Lera Himera. She cosplayed Jade from Mortal Kombat (2011) as a pretty curvy girl having little clothes on. The character went out more sensual and sexy than in the game.
Apart from Mileena, Sonikella cosplayed the beautiful Sonya Blade. She brought the character into life as a mighty warrior that can fight even the strongest enemy.
Before the final events of Mortal Kombat X took place, God of Thunder and the main protector of Earthrealm had always been considered an embodiment of good. But Raiden has dramatically changed after he was corrupted by Shinnok's Dark Energy.
Ilya Pavlenko cosplayed this God of Thunder.
Baraka belongs to a race of mutants – a crossbreed between Netherrealm demons and denizens of Outworld. In the current timeline, he was a side character killed by D'Vorah in Mortal Kombat X.
Freya Veles cosplayed Baraka on the occasion of his return to the series (his female version, to be exact). Freya, as always, made the character look creepy and at the same time sexy.
Sindel is Kitana’s daughter who didn’t want to be Shao Kahn’s wife and committed suicide. Necromancer Quan Chi forcibly brought her back to live like a marionette. This was Sindel who destroyed almost all Defenders of the Realm in Mortal Kombat (2011). The character didn’t appear in Mortal Kombat X, however, this time she’s in MK11.
Jannet Incosplay perfectly cosplayed Sindel.
