Marvel’s Spider-Man Full Walkthrough: Spider-Hack
In the previous mission, Spider-Man learned the name of the person associated with the Devil’s Breath project. However, the main character and his partner Mary Jane know nothing about him, so they decide that Norman Osborn’s office in Oscorp building is the ideal place for finding such things.
Along the way, MJ tells about her findings. It turns out that the folder which was chased by demons contained information about a secret deal between Osborn and Fisk. A few years ago, the mayor of New York asked the main criminal of the city to build an underground lab. Its location is still unknown.
The Oscorp building is a high and guarded tower. For Spider-Man, the only way to get inside is to sneak through a small ventilation grate on the balcony near the very top. Obviously, this entry is protected by a security system, so you’ll first have to disable it.
Having jumped on the peak above the civilized entrance to the tower, Spider-Man will use his scanner (R3) to detect the wire leading to the building’s protective module. There’ll be four such modules along the way to the top. After disconnection of each of these modules, Sable’s mercenaries will increasingly toughen security measures.
Once you are on the wall, crawl (or run) up to the first module. To hack the module (this applies to all other modules), just get close and clamp R1. After a few seconds, lights will go out, and Sable’s laser rays will be seen on the facade of the tower.
Unfortunately, Spider-Man won’t be able to deal with snipers in this mission as it is a secret one. Therefore, you’ll have to act carefully to stay out of enemy’s sight. Otherwise, the mission will end prematurely.
Ironically, the most effective secretive tactic is to run towards your goal. Using this approach, you can easily and quickly dodge lasers, and you’ll be able to retreat (jump off) if you need to. In addition, no one forces you to move strictly along the wire. The main thing is to find the protective module. The side from which the hero comes to this module does not matter.
Having hacked the second switchboard, you’ll provoke the appearance of enemy drones which will begin to scan the facade of the building along with snipers. Flying robots have a wider detection zone in comparison to humans, but they move slower. Nevertheless, it’s better to stay away from the spotlights.
After you have hacked the third module, a helicopter with a powerful searchlight will join the operation. Fortunately, the last switchboard is located at a very noticeable place – the letter ‘’O’’ on the company’s giant logo. You’ll have no problems finding it. It is not difficult to get to your target – just ‘’bypass’’ the logo from the left side and run up. There’ll be no drones or snipers from the balcony side.
Once you are done with the fourth module, crawl/run to the left to get to the entrance to the ventilation. Here, you can overhear Norman Osborn’s conversation with his, so to speak, foreman. You’ll be able to get out of the ventilation when the Oscorp director leaves the office.
Go to the computer on the desk and watch the presentation of Devil’s Breath (GR-27). It turns out that the project was conceived for the treatment of genetic diseases, but due to development problems almost turned into a biological weapon. One infected person can provoke a global epidemic.
The only sample of GR-27 is always carried by Dr. Morgan Michaels, the scientific supervisor of the project. That’s why Martin Li is chasing the scientist – he wants to get Devil’s Breath. The location of Michaels is unknown, but Mary Jane will try to find it out in the following mission.
