Marvel’s Spider-Man Full Walkthrough: Hidden Agenda
After failing to find Martin Li in his hidden office, Peter Parker decides to check the official workplace of his aunt’s boss. Head to the roof of the F.E.A.S.T. and change into civilian clothes which are stored in a sports bag lying between self-made flower beds.
Before checking Li’s office, see May – she tries to cut (unsuccessfully) a carrot on the kitchen. Peter will recommend Miles as a potential worker and will also offer his help in cleaning the shelter. If you want, you can clean up the garbage on the way to director’s office – three heaps will be enough to clean your conscience. However, you’ll get nothing for collecting garbage, and Aunt May won’t appreciate your efforts.
Let’s get back to the main goal of our visit to this shelter – Li’s office. The door is, of course, closed, so you’ll have to find an alternative way. Fortunately, if you look up, you can see the entrance to the ventilation under the ceiling. Apparently, realizing that Peter needs to spend some time alone, everyone who was in the corridor before, will just get up and leave.
Now, when no one is watching, pull yourself up to the ventilation (L2 and R2) and start crawling towards the office. Along the way, pay attention to a room that is hidden behind Li’s office and prepare an electric web – the passage is blocked by a defective switchboard. Shoot at it and move towards the office – nothing stands on your way now.
Once you are inside the office, look around – the interactive objects on the shelves and walls will tell plenty of interesting things about Li’s charity work. On the closet next to the chessboard, you’ll find a book with a story about a ghost. The book was used by Li’s father to frighten his young son.
On the table, you’ll find a letter addressed to Aunt May. In this letter, Li takes the blame for the committed crimes – and confesses about the uncertainty regarding his own grand plan in his diary. There’s a key between the pages. A joint picture of Martin and May will help you to find out for what the key is needed.
The altar, which is now decorated with the image of Li’s parents, hides the symbol of yin and yang. To find it, insert the key that you have found into a small keyhole on the picture frame (see screenshot above). You’ll see a castle-puzzle. The goal is to make the sign that you have seen in the photo with May from the available pieces.
The puzzle is not that difficult as it looks at the first glance, but we’ll still divide the solution into parts:
- Turn the black lever (left) so that the medium-sized white circle with the black core moves to the bottom of the unfinished symbol.
- Turn the white lever (right) so that the medium-sized white circle with the black core moves to the top of the unfinished symbol.
- Turn the black and white lever (in the middle) until the cores of both middle circles are in their place.
Once all parts of the puzzle are aligned in the correct order, the altar will move away from the wall, opening the passage to the secret room (the one that you could have noticed back when you were crawling in the ventilation). Go inside and inspect the evidence – energy weapons, dictating machine, newspaper clippings, and, most importantly, the folder that was searched by demons in the building where Wilson Fisk’s auction took place.
When you go away from the table with evidence, you’ll fall into a trap that makes the whole floor electrified. To get out of the room safely, you need to reboot two switchboards on different sides of the room – the first one is near the table and the second one is near the entrance. Make three shots with the electric web at each switchboard – you’ll have enough ammo, don’t worry.
Having ensured his safety, Peter can get out of the room using the grid in the floor. You’ll get into the back room – move the barrier from the door to get into the corridor on the first floor. Martin Li awaits him there. Aunt May will help defuse the situation.
None of the sides will show their cards yet, but an unpleasant surprise will await Peter at the exit from the shelter. By the power of his will, Li can turn people (even those unfamiliar to him) into his ''faith'': homeless, who were quite peaceful before, will suddenly attack the protagonist.
Peter will successfully deal with the sudden attack, but by that time the antagonist will already disappear in his official car. This incident does not foretell anything good, but, at least, captain Watanabe will agree to search Li’s office and, in case substantial evidence is found, will declare the philanthropist-terrorist on the wanted list.
Meanwhile, Mary Jane, judging by her whisper, has either sneaked somewhere or is planning something. You’ll be able to clarify the situation in upcoming missions, but now you get 3000 experience points for the completion of this one.
