Marvel’s Spider-Man Full Walkthrough: Don’t Touch the Art
There’s a report on burglary on the sale of Fisk’s property. Having arrived at the site, Spider-man discovers that armed men in demonic masks have the manager under the gun. Crawl forward along the ventilation system until you find a grate.
Jump to the beam under the ceiling and aim (L2) at the floor underneath to attract the attention of the guard in the room. Once the thug approaches, he can be ‘’packed’’ in web using the ‘’■’’ button. This is how stealth neutralization of enemies works in Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Having dealt with the criminal, climb into the ventilation on the far side of the room (aim the sight at the grate and press L2 and R2 simultaneously) and crawl forward until you see another ‘’demon’’ underneath. Using the ‘’■’’ button, attach the villain to the ceiling and jump down.
Another to way to secretly knock the opponent out is to sneak behind him. Once behind the back of your target, press ‘’■’’ to cover the villain in web. Then, get back to the ventilation and crawl down to the storage room.
Two thugs are talking downstairs, but you won’t be able to knock both of them out in a secretive way – you’ll have to separate them from each other. Press L2, shoot (R1) in the box between the shelves and pull the second bandit to you (‘’■’’) when the first one has gone to check the noise.
Use web attack (‘’▲’’) to get rid of the remaining enemy and inspect that camera that is hanging on the closet. This camera belongs to Peter’s ex-girlfriend Mary Jane Watson (MJ) which you will immediately meet. The girl will tell Spider-Man how she got there.
The story of MJ is interactive – you’ll have to play for her in this flashback. In Marvel’s Spider-Man, MJ works as a journalist in the newspaper called Daily Bugle. She went to the auction to find out about the sale of items stolen by Fisk under the cover of the auction.
Follow the manager. If you want, you can inspect storefronts - the heroine has a lot to say about the antique lovers. When you are ready, start the interview and photograph the exhibits during the mini-excursion.
Ultimately, the manager will refuse to respond to the provocative questions of Mary Jane and will vanish behind the door of the office. You’ll see an interesting statue when she’ll be walking in the office. Having photographed the statue, the heroine will ask to get to the restroom to distract the manager’s attention.
While the manager will be talking to the alleged boss of MJ (in fact, she just sneaked to the auction), the heroine will have the opportunity to get to the target office. Do not let the manager see you (sneak forward when she does not look in your direction) and rush (R2) from cover to cover.
Having reached the office, you can finally examine the statue. You are allowed to change the position of its body parts, so examine the booklet on the table and the picture of Fisk on the wall to get an idea of the pose you need for the statue and what you need to put into one of its hands.
At this point, MJ’s story comes to the end. The heroine has found a folder which mentions the ‘’Devil’s Breath’’. The demons who got into the building desperately want to get it. You go back to controlling Spider-Man, who is tasked with the elimination of the demon threat.
You can do it secretively or in open fight. Since it is never too late for an open fight, we’ll start acting in a stealth way. Point the sight (L2) to the warehouse ceiling and press R2 to move upside. Once you are in the adjacent room, jump to the beam above the hall.
A lone demon is behind the curtain – pull him to yourself using ‘’■’’ button and do the same with the bandit near the stage. Other two thugs stand on both sides from the exit from the room. To get rid of them without much fuss, lure them one at a time.
We’ll start with the left one. Shoot under the beam on the left (if you shoot the web in the middle of the room, both will come) to lead one bandit out of the second’s zone of sight. Having got rid of the first demon, repeat the procedure with the second one – the passage to the central hall is open.
Two thugs talk to each other between two shelves with the exhibits. Shoot behind one of them and knock out the one who stood still, then proceed to the second one. Jump on the far (from the entrance to the hall) shelf and eliminate the last demon in the room.
This ends the stealth section. Mary Jane was discovered, and the bandits are ready to shoot her. Spider-Man rushes into the hall, and a fight begins. Compared to ordinary bandits, demons have a certain black and white aura which can deal damage if you don’t dodge in time.
Otherwise, the battle follows a familiar scheme: dodge a lot, don’t forget that enemies with weapons should be thrown into the air (long press on the attack button), get rid of shooters first and use the ultimate function of the suit.
After the fight is over, Spider-Man will take one of the demonic masks for further inspection, while Peter will invite Mary Jane to a business meeting in a café. When duty will once again distract the hero from his personal life, you’ll get 2750 experience points and an alarming message from Yuri Watanabe.
