Far Cry New Dawn
Far Cry New Dawn Ethanol and Outpost Liberation Guide
In Far Cry New Dawn, you can find 10 outposts occupied by raiders. When liberating these outposts, you will get ethanol, a resource required to improve base buildings, craft certain items and buy maps.
Default Level Outposts
By default, the level of each outpost is minimal: inside, you will find one watchtower with an alarm system, ordinary raiders and one or two rank 2 bandits. For liberation of such an outpost, you will get 100 units of ethanol. If you do this without raising the alarm (this condition is not about you being detected but about your opponent raising alarm and calling reinforcements), you will additionally get 25 units of ethanol. If the alarm is raised, rank 2 enemies will come.
Level 1 Outposts
Then, this outpost will get a star and you will be able to leave it to yourself or to loot, which is preferable. Scavenge the outpost with one star to get 50 units of ethanol. Raiders will take this outpost, and enemies of second and third ranks will appear there. Also, there’ll be two watchtowers with the alarm system. For liberation of such outpost, you will get 200 units of ethanol. If you do this without raising the alarm, you will get an additional 50 units of ethanol.
Level 2 Outposts
Scavenge the outpost with two stars to get 100 units of ethanol. This time, the outpost will be occupied by rank 3 raiderssupported by one or two elite raiders. Besides, there’ll be three watchtowers with the alarm system. Having cleared such an outpost, you will earn 300 units of ethanol and 20 units of carbon fiber.
Level 3 Outposts
Now the outpost will have three stars, but you can still loot it (which will give you 150 units of ethanol) and then clear it for the last time (a fight against elite enemies). Also, dogs may appear in the outposts. Their collar begins to squeak when they approach them.
