Best Clash Royale Decks: Arena #4 (P.E.K.K.A.’s Playhouse)
P.E.K.K.A.’s Playhouse not only brings a new tank but also adds the second most important destroyer of towers – the Hog Rider. That is why the significance of this arena cannot be overestimated. Since now you will very often meet this unit. But at the same time, we shouldn’t forget about two useful defensive structures: the Inferno Tower and the Tesla. The Inferno Dragon is the second legendary card of the fourth arena. He is very useful because he is a flying DD with a very powerful attack on a single target. But the Inferno Dragon is used in the later arenas, as it is very difficult to get it in the fourth arena.
Battle deck № 1
The deck is very simple and similar to those that were in the previous arenas. The Minions are now replaced by a whole Minion Horde that exceeds them twice, and the Tesla is added as a defense. We can say a lot of laudatory words about it, but the first important thing is that it cannot be destroyed by indirect attacks. While looking at this deck you can see that it is not possible to press the opponent. You need to act looking on his tactic and lure his Arrows (if he has it) to release a Minion Horde after that.
Battle deck № 2
You are unlikely to ever win with a score greater than 1-0 with this deck. Just because all card combos here (except the Prince) are designed for high-quality defense. And the Inferno Tower helps greatly here. It shouldn’t be underestimated. After all, with the advent of the Freeze, many players will use this spell along with the Hog Rider or P.E.K.K.A., spending a lot of elixir on it. And one Inferno Tower will ruin their plans and give you a chance for a counter-offensive.

As you can see, there are no tanks in this deck, except the Barbarians. It is entirely focused on crushing the enemy by number. The Minion Horde, the Goblin Barrel, the Spear Goblins – a one Arrows spell can’t stop all these cards. Sooner or later one of these troops will destroy the tower. But you have to look after your own towers – that's why there must always be a Cannon or a Tesla on the field.

Now let’s move to the Hog Rider. All this deck is built on combinations with it. «The Hog Rider + the Goblin Barrel» combo works just as well as with the Prince. If you are sure that the opponent doesn’t have a Fireball in his hand, you can send the Barbarians along with the Hog Rider. But in another case – when you see a Skeleton Army or a Tombstone, then you’d better have a Fireball or Arrows to get rid of them. Leave the Tesla and the Minion Horde for defense.

The deck is designed for the Hog Rider too. It does not offer anything new: the Barbarians are good for defense and will help launch a counterattack, which will be reinforced by the Hog Rider. The Archers in this version are preferable to the Minion Horde because of their price, especially with a high level, since they can survive after the Arrows spell. The Tombstone neutralizes the enemy’s Hog Rider, and the Lightning is good at strangling an attack before it starts.

Usually, players use the Fury in order to speed up slow tanks, which is not always right. This deck is built on a different principle: to accelerate the fast units. The Witch, the Hog Rider and the Minion Horde under the baff of this spell begin to destroy the towers with great speed, so the enemy simply doesn’t have time to do anything. The whole difficulty is to choose the right moment for this. The Barbarian Hut being set in the center of the field will help in this by distracting the enemy.

«The Hog Rider + the Freeze» is the most popular combo and it becomes the main weapon of this deck. The Freeze is a universal spell, it can be used not only to freeze the opponent's tower but also not to let his troops finish yours, while you are smashing him. The Mini P.E.K.K.A., the Knight and the Baby Dragon are needed in this case for a smooth transition from defense to attack.
Battle deck № 8
The mentioned above combo of the Hog Rider and the Barbarians is extremely effective. We added the Freeze to this deck. But do not rush to use it too early! If you manage to hold out until the end of the round, you will be able to hit the enemy hard by stopping all his troops for a few seconds, when you finish one of his towers at the last moment. You can start with the Barbarians, dividing them into two groups behind the main tower, so you can keep the opponent in the dark longer.

We got to the main deadly pair: the Hog Rider and the Prince. It is not easy to decide to use them both at the same time, because they almost leave you unprotected and can be both destroyed by a large group of enemies. So the deck contains the Tesla for the defense and the Arrows to protect the attackers.

A very heavy deck that provides various attack tactics. The P.E.K.K.A. becomes your main tank, which can be covered with a Witch and a Baby Dragon. The trick of this deck is that the opponent is likely to throw all the forces against your P.E.K.K.A., and at this point you can make an unexpected attack with a Balloon, a Prince or a Goblin Barrel. The only downside – all these maneuvers will require a huge amount of elixir, so at some points of time you will be extremely vulnerable.
Battle deck № 11
Another version of a deck with the Witch. The strongest combination in this case is «the Giant + the Witch + the Knight» combo. As you can see, it requires more than 10 elixir points, which means that you will have to sacrifice the health of a tower to activate the secret weapon. Such tactic will suit only those who are ready to take risks, playing with time. The attack speed is the only thing matters in this competition.
Battle deck № 12
This deck is also recommended for fans of quick victories. The main thing here is to create a chain of units following each other. For example, «The Prince + the Minion Horde + the Spear Goblins» combo. The links of this chain can be reconstructed and changed: the Minion Horde can be replaced with the Knight, and the Spear Goblins – with the Bomber. Use the same cards if the attack hasn’t been stopped by the enemy. The speed should be your main key here.
Battle deck № 13
The fourth arena brings us the only air tank – the Lava Hound. Despite the fact that the card is legendary, it will not be able to pull forward the entire deck. However, it is useful for a complete set of air army. Two cards of the minions complement each other in case the enemy has the Arrows. The Baby Dragon is an extremely useful unit itself and will take away a lot of health from the tower when being released next to the Lava Hound.
Battle deck № 14
Having the Tesla, it would be foolish not to use it. This cunning structure will allow you to control the course of the battle. This need arises when you play defense, and this deck is created just for defense. It does not have strong tanks to press the opponent, but there are the Barbarians, Musketeers and Minions who can stop an enemy’s attack and strike back. Victory is achieved by such small portions of constant counteroffensive. The Lightning here is useful in order to suddenly destroy the damaged tower at the end of the match.
Battle deck № 15
A deck for advanced players who have already received most of the cards of the fourth arena. A complex combination of the Lava Hound and the Hog Rider leads the rest of the team. In case if the elixir is not enough for the Hog Rider, choose a Bomber – he is small but able to inflict enough damage. Minions and Goblins are used against tanks. The Freeze will be useful at the end, to give the Lava Hound opportunity to finish a tower.
