Pascals Wager: Annunciation Will Release Exclusively on Apple Devices This Winter
Developers promise "a console-quality experience in the palm of your hand"
Giant Games officially announced the western release of their upcoming mobile title Pascal’s Wager: Annunciation, a souls-like action RPG that’s supposed to satisfy the most hardcore players on mobile devices. The game was shown on stage at Apple’s recent presentation, and for a good reason — it will be available first on iOS-powered devices.
This is the first game developed by Tipsworks Studio, a China-based company with more than 30 veteran developers. The title has beenin development for more than 2 years already, which is a long time for the mobile industry.
In Pascal’s Wager, you play as Terrance, a courier living in a dystopian world where the sun has sunk to the bottom of the sea. The only respite from the darkness has been found by following the Colossus who emits sparks of light that can disperse the fog. At the start of the story, the Colossus has fallen in the midst of a deadly pandemic. Terrance believes there is a connection to his missing wife.
The game will be focused on "a robust story" told across 8 playable characters, a progression system, and very high-quality graphics. The developers plan to release multiple post-launch DLC with additional story chapters, PvP and PvE multiplayer will also be added to the game.
Pascal’s Wager: Annunciation is set to release exclusively on Apple’s App Store at the end of 2019. The title will be free-to-try, which means that you can download and play the first chapter for free and then purchase the rest if you like your experience.
The game will also be released for PC and consoles in 2020.
