Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Devs Introduce The Camarilla
Take a look at the game’s second faction
Following the introduction of The Pioneers, Paradox Interactive unveiled the second vampire faction from Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 called The Camarilla. Its members want to maintain peace in Seattle as their leader Prince Cross contributed greatly to increase the quality of local vampires lives in the 21st century.
The Camarilla represents institutional power: It's sophisticated, high-priced, and very private — they act like like typical business conglomerates. In the first Bloodlines, the head of the Los Angeles Camarilla Prince Sebastian LaCroix was the force that initiated many events of the game. Now, in Bloodlines 2 the Camarilla boss is Prince Alec Cross, a skilled negotiator, and strategist who doesn't claim complete control over the city but has managed to keep other factions from aligning against him. He is less ambitious, though, and prefers to keep things quiet.
The Camarilla has three defining characteristics: they are extremely wealthy, live in The Ivory Tower made of glass and steel, and each vampire of their numbers is perfectly aware of being the city’s biggest target.
The remaining three factions will be introduced in the coming months.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One early next year.
