DuckTales Remastered Is About to Leave All Digital Stores

Hurry and get it on sale while you still can

Capcom announced that the 8-bit platformer DuckTales Remastered will leave every digital storefront on August 8 for unspecified reasons. However, everyone who owns a copy of the game will still be able to download and play it.

Check out a trailer of the game below:

Now is your last chance to buy DuckTales Remastered digitally for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC — it's also currently on sale for the last two platforms.

Here is the list of places where you can get the game:

  • Steam — $3.74 (-75%).
  • Xbox Live (Xbox One backward compatibility) — $3.74.
  • eShop (Wii U) — $3.74 (-75%).
  • PS Store (PlayStation 3) — $14.99.

Disc-based versions of the game will install and play normally, so don’t worry if you missed the deadline.

It’s unknown if the game will return to stores in the future. Previously, Disney removed Aladdin and The Lion King games from GOG — there might be a pattern here with the company’s properties.
