‘My Body Might Be Present, but My Soul Is on the Beach,’ — Sony Revealed Heartman’s Trailer for Death Stranding

Nicolas Winding Refn’s character dies every 21 minutes

Sony and Hideo Kojima have released the next trailer for Death Stranding. It is dedicated to the character named Heartman.

Check out the video below.

Heartman’s look was borrowed from the filmmaker and Kojima’s friend Nicolas Winding Refn. The voice belongs to another talent who’s doing professional voice acting

Heartman’s heart stops with 21 minutes rate and that’s why he has to resuscitate himself every time he dies, spending three minutes in a parallel world of the dead. Judging by the dialog between the characters, Heartman is searching for his family there.

Besides Nicolas Winding Refn, characters played by Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Troy Baker and Guillermo del Toro will appear in Death Stranding. The game will arrive for PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019.
