Artist Reimagined the New Lion King as the 1994 Cartoon

Perhaps realistic graphics is not always the answer

Directed by Jon Favreau, the new Lion King movie features 3D graphics and realistically looking animals. Some people, however, were not impressed with this, saying that the CGI animals lack the charm and emotional mimics of their animated siblings.

Russian artist Nikolay Mochkin, also known as Ellejart, has decided to fix this and shared his vision of the 2019 Lion King characters stylized as the 1994 cartoon. For instance, here’s his variation of the poster:
