This Video Shows Fanmade S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Multiplayer Mod Gameplay

The mod likely will be released before the official sequel

Developers of the Ray of Hope multiplayer S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod showed a new video with 10 minutes of gameplay.

You can watch it below:

The video shows seamless multiplayer with familiar S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat mechanics: you can take quests from NPCs, shoot thugs and mutants and discover various anomalies. There are also social functions like trading and text chat included.

The devs also wanted to showcase in this demo how they managed to synchronize player’s clients. That includes weather effects, anomaly particles, ambient sounds, and other miscellaneous features.

Check out the official screenshots below:

Ray of Hope is a modification made for those who long for an authentic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience with friends. The mod is still in beta and the creators welcome anyone who wishes to help them with the development.

As you may know, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is in development right now. It’s not clear if it will have multiplayer or not, but the game won’t get a Battle Royale mode. If one of the fans will decide to add it themselves, would you support it?
