Universal Pictures Announces New Resident Evil 2 Attraction
Survive and escape from Raccoon City as a brave police officer
Capcom has announced a partnership with Universal Pictures to open a new attraction in their theme park. Biohazard: The Extreme will be based on the recent Resident Evil 2 Remake and will open in Universal Studio Japan this fall.
The premise of the attraction is simple: you are a police officer from the Raccoon Police Department trapped in the city overrun by zombies. To do that, visitors will have to solve various puzzles and shoot zombies and mutants, just like in previous attractions, Biohazard: The Real 1, 2 and 3.
There are five levels of difficulty in Biohazard: The Extreme that affect the players’ objectives and the amount of ammo and items in the maze. Visitors of the attraction will be able to choose between "Leon" and "Claire" paths.
Biohazard: The Extreme will be open at the Universal Studio Japan park in Osaka from September 4 till November 4 this year.
