Next Nvidia GPUs GeForce RTX 3000 Can Be Released in the Summer of 2020
Announcement is expected at E3 2020
A couple of weeks ago, Korean sources reported that Samsung will produce the next graphics chips for Nvidia video cards. GPUs will be created on 7-nanometer technology and released no earlier than Q2 2020. Then, on July 8, a feature explaining the details of cooperation between the companies was published on the Japanese ASCII portal.
It is also reported that Samsung will take on the production of flagship solutions (something like the RTX 3080). As for TSMC, Nvidia’s oldest partner, the company will continue production of models of the middle and budget classes.
In addition, according to the Japanese source, the announcement of the proposed successor to Turing RTX 3000 can take place already at E3 2020. The code designation of the new architecture is not yet known.
A few days ago Nvidia presented refreshed GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070, and RTX 2080 models with a prefix ‘Super’. The sales began today, July 9.
