One Minute of The Last of Us Part 2 Soundtrack Revealed

Argentinian composer Gustavo Santaolalla has composed a beatiful piece of music for the upcoming Naughty Dog game

Argentinian composer Gustavo Santaolalla has posted on Instagram a part of The Last of Us Part 2 soundtrack he’s working on. In the post, he mentioned Neil Druckmann, Naughty Dog Vice President, and official accounts of Naughty Dog and Sony PlayStation.

In the one-minute track, you can hear the Spanish guitar playing, accompanied by the light drumming sound and birds singing in the background. Perhaps it will be played in one of the forest locations in the upcoming PlayStation exclusive.

Gustavo Santaolalla composed music for the first game as well as for over 20 films including Brokeback Mountain and Babel for which he won the Academy Awards.

As Kotaku’s Jason Schreier posted in late May, The Last of Us Part 2 release was postponed to Q1 2020, although no official release date has been announced yet. In April 2019, Naughty Dog wrote that the cinematic shoots for the game were finished.
