Mech, Aliens and Destruction: Stalin vs. Martians 4 Announced
The sequel to 2009’s parody RTS about the Soviet army fighting aliens is coming in 2020
Studio KREMLINCORP Entertainment GmbH has announced a sequel to their 2009 real-time strategy, Stalin vs. Martians. The new entry, however, is numbered ‘’4’’ and is now a ‘’dynamic hybrid of isometric action and Stalinism.’’
No plot details were revealed, but we have a gameplay video, which shows Soviet leader Josef Stalin riding a red mech, shooting all sorts of alien intruders and destroying everything around. As the developers noted, the game’s physics-based destruction of the environment is similar to ‘’reversed Katamari Damacy.’’
Check out the announcement trailer below:
To kill Martians, Stalin will use a variety of weapons including a minigun, tesla coil, rocket launcher and a railgun. The latter will shoot actual rails, the developers claim. Some abilities are expected as well as seen in one of the screenshots below.
The original game was released in 2009 for PC and was a parody RTS, in which players led Soviet tanks and troopers into battle with cartoonish aliens.
Stalin vs. Martians 4 is set to release some time in 2020.
