The remaster is published by Atari and developed by Nightdive Studios. The developers have previously worked on such titles as System Shock 2, System Shock: Enhanced Edititon, Turok, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil and Forsaken Remastered. Now, the team is also working on System Shock Remake to be released in 2020. The third entry in the series is developed by OtherSide Entertainment and has recently received a teaser trailer.

As of now, Blood Remaster has no release date.
