Valve Has Finally Allowed Remote Streaming Using Steam Link Anywhere
Play your Steam library everywhere you go provided you have a good connection speed
The company has launched the service called Steam Link Anywhere in early beta. This allows users to stream Steam games from their PC to any device anywhere across the world, as opposed to requiring a local network connection earlier.
Valve states that the only thing you need is ‘’good upload speed on your PC and good network connection on your Steam Link device’’. You will be able to play using other PCs, smartphones or even smart TVs — anything that already supports Steam Link technology.
To use Steam Link Anywhere:
Update your Steam Client to the beta build, dated March 13 or newer.
Add a computer and select ‘’Other Computer’’.
Follow the pairing instructions on screen.
Steam Link is available on Android devices, PCs, select Samsung TVs and Raspberry Pi. It is not yet available on iOS, due to Valve’s app violating certain Apple guidelines.
