19 Craziest Dead or Alive Costumes
Red latex dresses, rabbit costumes, nurse coats, and other revealing and fancy heroines’ dresses from the Dead or Alive series
Games of the Dead or Alive series differ from other fighting games by betting heavily on female characters. The gameplay barely changes with each new installment, while the heroines get more beautiful, and the developers improve the physics of breasts and buttocks, releasing DLCs with tearing clothes and new extravagant costumes.
To celebrate the release of Dead or Alive 6, we have picked the craziest outfits of the series’ heroines: from incredibly revealing to truly strange.
Christie – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 8
The costume is part of the standard edition of Dead or Alive 5. You’ll immediately notice the similarity with Miranda’s outfit from Mass Effect 2, although there is no official connection between the series. In Dead or Alive, the costume is more revealing. To get it, you need to complete the Survival mode.
Christie – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 28
The red devil costume in the form of latex bikini with horns and wings was added to Dead or Alive 5 in the Halloween 2014 Costumes DLC. As Christie is an assassin, it’s easy to understand why the devil costume suits here more than any other Dead or Alive heroine.
Christie – Dead or Alive 4, Costume 4
The fourth Christie’s costume which becomes available after the completion of the storyline campaign is a mix of a stripper’s outfit and a dominatrix from erotic films.
Momiji – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 26
The Christmas DLC for Dead or Alive 5 called Christmas 2014 Costumes has many festive outfits. The most unusual of them belongs to Momiji, who was simply wrapped in a gift ribbon.
Kasumi – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 34
The Halloween DLC to Dead or Alive 5 also has angel costumes. While you can dress any heroine in a white swimsuit with wings, it looks best on Kasumi.
Kasumi – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 38
Those who have pre-ordered the PC version of Dead or Alive 5 on Amazon received an extra costume called Aloha. This outfit consists of a transparent skirt and a flower necklace.
Kasumi – Dead or Alive, Costume 7 (Sega Saturn version)
First parts of Dead or Alive are not that hot in comparison with the latter parts of the series, but you can find truly strange costumes in them. For example, you can dress Kasumi as a red rabbit in the first part of the series (Sega Saturn version).
Kasumi – Dead or Alive 3, Costume 5
Formally, there’s nothing crazy in a schoolgirl costume. However, the context is important here: the game targets a specific audience, so the seventeen-year-old Kasumi in school uniform looks ambiguous in Dead or Alive 3.
Kasumi – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 25
Compared to other Kasumi outfits, this one looks too modest and inappropriate. However, it’s a reference to a character from Sengoku Musou 3: Moushounden, DLC to Samurai Warrior 3. This costume is available to the player right from the start of the game.
Kasumi – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 59
It’s a costume of Kitsune, a fox from Japanese folklore who has magical powers. Kasumi’s outfit is distinguished by the presence of paws and tail, as well as the absence of bra. The costume was added to the game as part of the Halloween Costumes 2016 DLC.
Helena – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 18
The costume first appeared in the spin-off called Dead or Alive – Xtreme 2 which was dedicated to beach volleyball. Later, it was seen in the fifth part of the series as part of the Ultimate Sexy Costumes DLC. The dress is a minimalist swimsuit with shells and thin strings between them.
Helena – Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, Diamond Costume
Costumes from Dead or Alive – Xtreme were different types of bikinis, while the DLCs have something close to them. Almost all outfits from Salmon Roe DLC for Xtreme 3 are just tiny beads.
Nyutenga – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 3
Cat costume is available from the very beginning in Dead or Alive 5. Leather mask in combination with black latex provoke thoughts about fetish parties, while huge wings look completely inappropriate.
Honoka – Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, Fortune Costume
The most revealing costume of the series can be purchased in Fortune DLC for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3.
Lisa – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 8
Beauties in nurse coats are one of the most popular sexual fantasies for men, so Dead or Alive had to include this outfit. However, you will have to complete the Survival mode to dress up your favorite heroine is a short white coat.
Lisa – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 30
This costume for Lisa was part of the Showstoppers DLC and looks more like a gold plating on a naked body than a swimsuit.
Lisa – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 50
Cowgirl is another unusual and vivid image. In Rodeo Time DLC, you can dress up the series’ heroines in a sexual outfit which is vaguely reminiscent of cowboy’s clothes from spaghetti westerns.
Lei-Fang – Dead or Alive 2, Costume 8
The eighth outfit for Lei in Dead or Alive 2 is an evening dress, stockings and high heels. It looks weird in comparison with other costumes. To get access to this costume, you need to complete Survival mode for Lei or fight for her 150 times depending on the region of the game. A similar outfit belonged to Rayne in the very first location of Bloodrayne 2.
Ayane – Dead or Alive 5, Costume 32
Bedtime & Bathtime Costumes DLC included pajamas and towels for many heroines of Dead or Alive. They look unusual for the series – funny and more cozy than sexy.
